CT Technologist

Location: Buena Vista, CT

Assignment Duration: This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule: Night Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM

Job Description: The CT Technologist is a graduate of an accredited AMA school and registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technology (ARRT). This role is crucial in providing timely diagnostic services to both inpatients and outpatients under the direction of a Radiologist and following departmental protocols. The responsibilities of the CT Technologist include performing basic radiographic procedures, fluoroscopy, portable radiographic procedures, C-arm procedures, and OR imaging services.

Responsibilities:

• Perform routine diagnostic CT scanning procedures including CT of head/brain, neck, thorax, spine, abdomen/pelvis, and extremities.
• Assist in biopsy and drainage procedures.
• Demonstrate knowledge of CT system processing and surgical/sterile procedures with or without contrast media.
• Provide quality patient care and comfort during imaging procedures.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• ARRT certification and TMB license in Radiologic Technology.
• BLS certification.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role.
• Registered in Connecticut.
• Must provide a permanent home address and social security number upon application.
• Must be located more than 50 miles from the facility.
