Quality Control Inspector (2nd Shift)Raytheon has an exciting opportunity for a Quality Control Inspector (2nd Shift) position at our McKinney, TX location. The effective candidate will work from planning sheets, blueprints, quality control specifications, oral and written instructions, and contractual requirements.This role will provide a shift differential of 8% for 2nd shift hours worked. (2:00 PM – 10:30 PM)What You Will Do:Inspect for final acceptance, all types and series of electronic hardware to determine that rework, modification, and repairs conform to contractual/drawing requirements.Inspect and accept electronic hardware referencing quality control standards, workmanship, and drawing specifications; by checking such items as parts, wires, solder joints, and terminals, using appropriate inspection devices.Inspect and reject for tests or rework or otherwise approves hardware as acceptable.Prepare reports and maintain records as required.Meet necessary certifications as required.Perform incidental related duties as assigned or required.Qualifications You Must Have:High School Diploma or GEDMinimum (4) years of experience as a quality inspector or comparable experience or Associates Degree and 2 years of relevant experienceExperience using calibrated inspection measurement tools such as micrometers, calipers, microscope, and rulersExperience with drawing and blueprint readingPrevious experience with Solder Institute of Printed Circuits (IPC) Joint Standard 001E, and Process SpecificationsThe ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
