Role Description This is a full‑time, on-site Construction Purchasing and Procurement Coordinator role based in Doral, FL. The coordinator will manage the end‑to‑end purchasing process for construction materials, equipment, and services, including issuing requests for quotes, comparing bids, negotiating pricing, and preparing purchase orders. This role will maintain vendor and subcontractor databases, track deliveries, and coordinate with project managers, site superintendents, and accounting to ensure timely and accurate procurement aligned with project schedules and budgets. The coordinator will monitor inventory levels, resolve delivery or quality issues, and ensure that all procurement activities comply with company standards, contracts, and project specifications. Daily work includes updating procurement logs, reviewing invoices against purchase orders, assisting with cost control and value engineering efforts, and supporting multiple projects simultaneously in a fast‑paced environment. Qualifications Demonstrated experience in construction purchasing, procurement, or supply chain coordination for commercial or retail construction projects. Strong skills in vendor sourcing, bid comparison, price negotiation, and contract or purchase order administration. Proficiency with construction management and procurement software, spreadsheets, and ERP or accounting systems (e.g., Sage, Procore, or similar). Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and scopes of work to align purchases with project requirements. Excellent organizational, time management, and multitasking skills to support multiple projects under tight deadlines. Clear written and verbal communication skills for collaborating with project teams, vendors, and subcontractors. Strong attention to detail and accuracy in pricing, quantities, documentation, and record keeping. Problem‑solving mindset with the ability to resolve delivery issues, substitutions, and schedule conflicts quickly and professionally. Associate or bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Business, Supply Chain, or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
