Creditors' Rights Paralegal | Plantation, FL (On-Site) We're partnering with a well-established creditors' rights law firm in Plantation, FL to find a Paralegal to join their litigation team. This is an on-site role based at the firm's headquarters, with a salary range of $60K–$80K depending on experience. About the Role This is a high-volume litigation practice representing secured and unsecured creditors across the full recovery lifecycle - from pre-litigation demand through judgment enforcement, bankruptcy, and foreclosure/repossession proceedings. You'll support attorneys across the full docket, gaining exposure to every stage of the collections and recovery process. What You'll Do Debt Collection & Litigation - Draft and prepare pleadings, complaints, motions, and supporting documents for lawsuits filed in state and federal court to obtain judgments on unpaid consumer and commercial debts, under attorney supervision Judgment Enforcement - Prepare and process documentation for wage garnishments, bank levies, and property seizures to support collection on judgments Pre-Litigation - Draft demand letters and assist with tracking payment plans and structured settlements Bankruptcy Support - Assist attorneys representing secured creditors in bankruptcy matters, including preparing motions to lift the automatic stay, replevin filings, and documentation related to claims priority and discharge challenges Asset Recovery & Foreclosure - Support real estate foreclosure proceedings and repossession matters (vehicles, inventory, equipment), including case file maintenance and documentation tracking Case Management - Maintain case files, track deadlines, prepare correspondence, and ensure documentation integrity and compliance with applicable laws and firm protocols What We're Looking For Paralegal certificate required 2+ years of paralegal experience in creditors' rights, collections, or bankruptcy preferred; candidates with strong backgrounds in bankruptcy litigation or insurance defense (ID) support will also be considered Comfortable supporting a high-volume docket with strong organizational skills Strong drafting, communication, and attention-to-detail skills Working knowledge of civil litigation procedures and court rules Why This Role Full-cycle exposure - collections, judgment enforcement, bankruptcy, and foreclosure - not a single-lane practice Established firm with a steady, high-volume caseload On-site position with an experienced team in Plantation, FL Salary and Other Compensation: The annual salary for this position is between $60,000 – $80,000 annually .
