Radiology - CT Tech

CT Tech PositionCT Tech needed with variable shifts to fill scheduling gaps. Shifts include Friday - Saturday nights and three alternate days. Responsibilities include performing a variety of diagnostic computerized tomography examinations. Operate complex stationary and mobile diagnostic equipment. Ensure completion of routine and priority tasks within established time frames. Prepare for and assist in CT diagnostic procedures during invasive procedures. Explain and educate patients on procedures, medications, and contrast media to alleviate fear and anxiety. Mentor and foster an environment for students and new technologists to build confidence in their skills. Perform general clerical tasks, such as updating patient appointments and electronic health records. Maintain a clean, safe working environment and clean and disinfect equipment after each procedure. Implement protection devices and safety standards to minimize radiation exposure. Maintain strict confidentiality of all patients' protected health information. Perform quality CT examinations in compliance with standards and regulations to ensure patient privacy and care. Prepare, administer, and document medications and contrast media in accordance with regulations.
