This role focuses on performing quality inspections and packaging finished doors for shipment, while also providing support to other production areas as needed.Shift: Monday - Friday, either 5am-1pm or 6am-2pmOvertime: Some Saturday shifts or overtime may be assigned based on production needsJob Responsibilities:Inspect doors for correct dimensions, color, hardware functionality, and overall quality.Pack hardware such as sweeps and push/pull handles, ensuring color accuracy.Ensure glass requirements are met and install glass panels into doors.Read trip reports to confirm scheduled orders are boxed.Use a tape measure and accurately label doors for shipment.Allocate glass and hardware using computer software.Maintain a clean, organized work area and assist in door production as needed.What We Are Looking ForAbility to read measurements, assembly instructions, and blueprints.Basic computer skills.Safety-focused and coachable.Ability to work at a fast pace and wear required PPE, including gloves, safety glasses, ear plugs, hard hat, cut-resistant sleeves, and steel-toe boots with met guard.What OBE Offers YouBenefits that benefit you – industry competitive benefits at the lowest cost to the employeeWork-life balance – PTO and holidays, including floating holidays you can chooseCompensation that rewards your hard work – A pay-for-performance culture with potential for annual raises and bonusesTraining – We will equip you with the knowledge and skills you need to succeed
