Position Overview As an Apartment Maintenance Technician, you will play a vital role in maintaining the overall appearance, functionality, and safety of the property. You will be responsible for completing service requests, performing preventive maintenance, and assisting with apartment turns to ensure homes are move-in ready for new residents. The ideal candidate is reliable, customer-service oriented, and experienced in a variety of maintenance disciplines, including plumbing, electrical, HVAC support, carpentry, and general repairs. Key Responsibilities * Complete resident service requests in a timely and professional manner * Perform general maintenance and repair work throughout the community * Troubleshoot and repair plumbing, electrical, and mechanical issues * Assist with apartment make-readies and unit turnovers * Maintain property grounds, buildings, and common areas * Conduct preventive maintenance inspections and repairs * Replace fixtures, appliances, and hardware as needed * Ensure all work is completed in compliance with company and safety standards * Provide excellent customer service while interacting with residents and team members * Assist with emergency maintenance situations when required Qualifications * Previous apartment maintenance, facilities maintenance, or related experience preferred * Knowledge of plumbing, electrical, carpentry, drywall, painting, and general repairs * HVAC certification or experience is a plus * Ability to safely operate maintenance tools and equipment * Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills * Excellent communication and customer service abilities * Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 pounds * Reliable transportation and a strong work ethic Why Work with BG Staffing?
