Travel MRI Technologist - Magnetic Resonance Imaging

American Traveler is hiring an MRI Technologist with 2+ years experience and ARRT-MR or ARMRIT certification for a Level 3 Trauma Center.

Job Details

• Work in a single MRI room within a 123-bed smaller community Level 3 Trauma Center,
• Patient population includes ICU, ER, inpatient, outpatient, minimal pediatrics, and altered mental status cases,
• Average caseload of 15-20 MRI exams daily,
• Performs general MRI exams including MSK, body, neuro, and cardiac studies,
• Handles trauma patients with occasional combative behavior,
• Uses GE 1.5 MRI equipment, Epic EMR, Alaris IV pumps, and Altea MRI system,
• 12-hour day shifts, typically Sunday through Tuesday with some variation,
• On-call coverage required from end of shift until the following morning on Saturdays and Sundays,

Job Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years MRI experience required,
• ARRT-MR or ARMRIT certification required,
• BLS certification required,
• WA state license required if applicable,
• GE 1.5 MRI experience required,
• IV start proficiency required,
• Ability to work independently,
