Job Details Position: Registered Nurse, Labor & Delivery Location: Seattle, WA 98122 Type: Travel RN assignment Duration: 26 weeks Shift: 12-hour day shifts Weekly Hours: 36 hours Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,160 - $2,270 Start Date: 10/19/2026 Job Requirements At least 1 year of Labor & Delivery nursing experience required High-risk L&D experience required in a fast-paced obstetric care setting Current Registered Nurse license required; compact license must be in hand at submission if applicable Required certifications: BLS and NRP Preferred certifications: ACLS, AWHONN Advanced, and AWHONN Intermediate Epic charting experience required Experience with electronic fetal monitoring required Must be comfortable working in high-acuity, high-volume environments Ability to work every other weekend and selected holidays as needed Responsibilities Provide expert nursing care to laboring patients and newborns in a high-volume Labor & Delivery unit Circulate for C-sections and assist with operative deliveries Function as Baby Nurse during delivery and continue newborn care until transfer to postpartum Perform newborn assessments, including eyes, thighs, and vitamin K-related newborn care Support patients receiving medications such as magnesium sulfate, insulin, and heparin per unit protocols Assist with fetal monitoring, high-risk deliveries, triage, and recovery care Float as needed to postpartum, antepartum, or other units with matching skill sets Deliver safe, compassionate, team-based care while following unit guidelines and best practices Apply now to join this Seattle Labor & Delivery travel nursing opportunity and take the next step in your women’s health RN career.
