OR RN - Day Shift (4x10 Hours)

This position requires a 4x10 hour schedule, with shifts from 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM. On-call duty will be required every 3rd to 4th weekend, including 2 late calls until 11 PM per week.

We are seeking an experienced OR RN to provide high-quality nursing care in a fast-paced operating room environment. The ideal candidate will be well-rounded and skilled in a variety of specialties, including general, neuro, ortho, ENT, and GYN. This role is crucial for ensuring excellent patient outcomes and a safe surgical environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist in surgical procedures as part of the operating room team.
• Monitor patients' condition and provide nursing care before, during, and after surgery.
• Prepare and maintain surgical instruments and supplies.
• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient care.
• Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a sterile environment.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in an acute care operating room setting.
• Current SC or Multi-State/Compact RN license required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
• Experience in a Level 3 trauma center preferred.
• Radiation badge must be provided by the agency.
