- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and case managers to create an integrated care approach that enhances client recovery outcomes, ensuring all team members are informed of treatment progress. \n
- Provide ongoing education and support to clients' families, fostering a supportive environment that encourages their active participation in the recovery process. \n
- Maintain secure and accurate records in compliance with HIPAA regulations and ethical standards, ensuring client confidentiality is always respected. \n
You will engage with a diverse population of clients struggling with substance use disorders, many of whom also face co-occurring mental health disorders. This role requires a nuanced understanding of the complexities surrounding addiction and an ability to instill hope and resilience in clients. Your work will not only impact individuals but will also extend to the families of clients, as you promote a holistic recovery environment.
Qualifications\n- \n
- A current and valid license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Doctor of Psychology (PsyD). \n
- A master's degree or higher in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or a closely related field. \n
- Specialized training or substantial experience in addiction counseling and substance abuse treatment methodologies. \n
- Strong familiarity with evidence-based practices for treating substance use and co-occurring mental health disorders. \n
- Exceptional interpersonal and therapeutic skills, with a proven ability to establish rapport and encourage client engagement throughout their recovery journey. \n
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills, facilitating productive collaboration with other members of the treatment team. \n
- \n
- A minimum of two years of experience in a mental health counseling role focusing on substance abuse treatment. \n
- Knowledge of the latest research and advancements in the field of addiction treatment. \n
- Experience in telehealth counseling, adapting traditional therapeutic techniques to a digital platform. \n
- \n
- Competitive annual salary ranging from $80,000 to $100,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications. \n
- A comprehensive benefits package, which includes health insurance, retirement plans, and generous paid time off. \n
- Opportunities for professional development, including continuing education opportunities and specialized training in addiction counseling. \n
- A supportive and collaborative work environment with ongoing supervision and training, fostering an atmosphere of growth and learning. \n
- Significant potential to make a transformative impact in clients' lives as they work towards recovery and long-term sobriety. \n
