This full-time contract opportunity offers two openings for experienced social workers eager to partner with diverse student populations across elementary and middle school settings. You'll work onsite, Monday through Friday, from 8:30 AM to 4:00 PM, helping students navigate academic, social, and emotional challenges to foster their overall success.

Key Qualifications:

• Active Master of Social Work (MSW) license in Pennsylvania
• Significant school-based experience required
• Must meet PA Dept of Education requirements: either hold a valid, active PA School Social Worker Educational Specialist certificate or be an LSW/LCSW enrolled in a PDE-approved social worker program
• Eligible for, or able to promptly obtain, all required PA clearances
• Comfort and capability working in an urban school setting
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and crisis intervention skills

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement strategies for student support, working closely with teachers, families, and community resources
• Conduct individual and group counseling to address behavioral, emotional, and family issues that impact learning
• Respond to crises and provide urgent support as needed
• Create and maintain case records, ensuring confidentiality and compliance with school district and state standards
• Contribute to a collaborative, positive school climate as a resource for staff and students
• Participate in professional development and ongoing training opportunities
