This position supports personal care, daily living activities, and agreed-upon domestic tasks while promoting safety, independence, and comfort for each client.What You’ll DoComply with established policies, procedures, and standards, including the Compliance Program/Code of ConductFollow Residents’ Rights policies at all timesMaintain a positive attitude and uphold standards of good caregiving practiceAssist clients in a manner conducive to their safety, comfort, and independenceReport any unusual observations or conditions to the Coordinator of GSV At Home or Assistant Coordinator/SchedulerPractice safety for self and clients and report any unsafe conditionsFollow the established care plan for each assigned clientAssist, as contracted, with clients’ personal possessions, home environment, meal preparation and feeding, appointment scheduling and reminders, and other services listed in the care planProvide personal care as contracted, including assistance with bathing, continence care, oral hygiene, hair grooming, dressing, shaving, and nail careDemonstrate dependability and punctuality by coming to work as scheduledAttend all in-services and training sessions relevant to the positionPerform other duties and responsibilities as assignedAnswer the telephone and assist clients with callsWhat We’re Looking ForHigh school diploma or GED preferredValid Driver’s LicenseNo experience necessary; training will be provided by the agencyCurrent CPR and First Aid Certification (or willingness to obtain after hire)Commitment to customer service and teamworkAbility to understand and identify with the Mission Statement and philosophy of Garden Spot Village At HomeTreat clients, family members, and peers with dignity and respectMaintain a cheerful and positive attitudeMay include weekends, evenings, and holidaysAdditional InformationPart-time Evenings 3:00pm-11:00pm, 15-25 hours/week!Why You’ll Love Working at Garden Spot At Garden Spot Village, you’ll be part of a purpose-driven team committed to compassion, respect, and integrity.
