The ideal candidate will bring strong programming skills, analytical thinking, and a passion for solving complex engineering problems. \n Accountabilities: The Software Engineering Expert will contribute advanced software engineering knowledge to support AI training initiatives by designing, developing, and evaluating high-quality technical content. The role requires strong problem-solving capabilities, attention to engineering standards, and the ability to communicate technical reasoning clearly. Design reproducible software engineering environments and challenges to evaluate AI model performance. Develop high-quality reference solutions and expert-level code examples for complex programming tasks. Create technical contributions across programming languages including Python, Java, Rust, Go, C++, and TypeScript. Analyze, debug, and resolve complex software defects across diverse codebases. Design, implement, and validate scalable software features following industry best practices. Refactor legacy applications to improve maintainability, readability, and system performance. Identify optimization opportunities and improve software efficiency through performance analysis. Document technical approaches, implementation decisions, and solution methodologies to enhance AI training quality. Review and validate technical submissions to ensure correctness, clarity, and engineering excellence. Collaborate remotely with cross-functional teams to continuously improve project quality and deliverables. Requirements: The ideal candidate will have strong software engineering experience, advanced programming knowledge, and the ability to solve complex technical challenges independently in a remote environment. Proven hands-on experience with at least one major programming language such as Python, Java, Rust, Go, C++, or TypeScript. Strong understanding of algorithms, data structures, object-oriented programming, and core software engineering principles. Experience debugging complex software systems and resolving production-level issues. Demonstrated ability to design and implement scalable software features throughout the development lifecycle. Strong background in code refactoring, application modernization, and performance optimization. Experience with software architecture, system design, distributed systems, or large-scale applications is highly valued. Familiarity with code reviews, engineering best practices, collaborative development workflows, and open-source contributions is a plus. Interest in artificial intelligence, machine learning, or AI-assisted software development is beneficial, though prior AI experience is not required. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and debugging skills. Strong written communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts clearly. Ability to work independently and manage deliverables effectively in a fully remote environment.
