Minimum Requirements:

• Associate's degree in physical therapy from an accredited educational program.
• Licensed or license eligible as a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) in North Carolina.
• BLS certification from AHA or ARC may be required.
• Experience in outpatient physical therapy preferred.
• Willingness to follow established treatment plans and consult with supervising Physical Therapist.
• New graduates are eligible and encouraged to apply.

What You'll Do

• Provide physical therapy treatment to patients in accordance with an established treatment plan as directed by a Physical Therapist.
• Progress patients through levels of treatment within patient capabilities.
• Consult with supervising Physical Therapist regarding progress and changes in patient condition.
• Document all treatment and pertinent patient interaction in accordance with clinic policies.
• Provide education to patients and families regarding home programs and activities.
• Develop and maintain effective communication with patients, families, and the rehabilitation team.
• Collaborate with teammates to grow clinical skills and contribute to positive clinic culture.
