Job Description
Exciting Nursing Opportunity in a Dynamic ER Environment!

Job Description:


- Shift: 12H Evenings
- Schedule: Varied start times between 1100-1300, Every Other Weekend, First to Float
- Location: Float between two high-energy campuses just 16 minutes apart!

Unit Highlights:
- Trauma Level: III
- Primary Stroke Center with comprehensive capabilities
- Average of 135 patients treated daily

Key Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced Emergency Room setting
- Participate in triage and assist with acute care needs after skill assessment
- Collaborate with a team that values a shared governance structure

Patient Care Details:
- Nurse to Patient Ratios vary based on acuity:
- General acute care: 1:3-4
- Level I traumas: 1:1 or 2:1
- Vertical care: 1:6-8

Qualifications:
- Must have 2 or more years of ER experience
- Required Certifications:
- BLS
- ACLS
- PALS
- TNCC
- NIHSS
- Epic experience is a must!
- Must pass the Advanced Dysrhythmia exam (83%) within 3 attempts

Special Information:
- Call outs are strongly discouraged and could lead to termination
- Opportunity to be involved in precepting new staff as needed
- Hybrid scheduling with self-scheduling options
- Rotate holiday requirements with core staff

Dress Code:
- Navy scrubs (undershirts must be navy)
- Optional scrub jackets
