ARMStaffing is looking for a Registered Nurse, Labor and Delivery (Night Shift) in Seattle, Washington.

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule/Shift

Nights, either 3x12 or 4x12 shifts available. Weekend work is required unless otherwise specified in the schedule.

Job Description

This position is for a Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse responsible for providing care to adult women of childbearing age. The unit features 7 labor beds, 3 triage rooms, 2 PACU, and 16 mother-baby beds. Candidates must be proficient in Epic software.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications and assist with high-risk deliveries.
• Provide support for breastfeeding and lactation.
• Perform sterile vaginal exams and assist with cesarean sections.
• Monitor and assess fetal heart tones and labor progression.
• Conduct postpartum assessments and provide discharge teaching to parents.

Required Experience

Minimum of 3 years of Labor and Delivery experience is required. First-time travelers are accepted if they meet the experience requirement.

Certifications/Licensure

• BLS (Basic Life Support) required.
• NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) required.
• AWHONN Intermediate preferred.
