Manufacturing Engineer 3Job Location: San Antonio, TXDuration: 06 MonthsShift Time: 4x10 (A shift: Sun-Wed, B shift: Wed-Sat), must be willing to work 1st or 2nd shiftOT/Weekend Work: As requiredTime: 5:00 am to 11:30 pmCandidate will lead and support in development, implementation and maintenance of various manufacturing plans, Bill of Materials, work instructions and illustrations to define and document as-built configuration. Candidate will assist in the identification of tooling requirements and processing tooling orders based on manufacturing and engineering requirements. Team member will be responsible for assisting in the investigation and resolution of manufacturing related issues. May also be responsible for collecting data to support producibility assessments for part or product designs. The successful candidate will assist in developing work statements and sequencing of limited scope with internal business partners and in the review, maintenance and monitoring of internal documents. Team member will work under close supervision.Position Responsibilities:Develops and maintains relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, partners and direct reports.Provides oversight and approval of technical approaches, products and processesLead collaboration and integration across the affected commoditiesResponsible for integrating changes to the affected commodities and executing the Build Integration milestonesAnalyzes design/build concepts to evaluate a producible definition and investigating alternative solutions to meet producibility requirementDevelops, implements, and maintains manufacturing plans, Bill of Materials, work instructions, and illustrations to define and document as-built configurationInvestigate and resolves manufacturing related issues that come up during manufacturing activitiesCreate installation planning and supporting installation planning shipside in San AntonioSupport team performance by participating in process/tool improvement projectsMay be required to work overtime, weekends, and holidays, to support business needs and deadlinesResolves complex technical problemsProvides guidance to others through structured mentoringThis position will be 100% onsite in San Antonio, TX.Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):Bachelor's Degree or higher from an accredited course of study, in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering or similar Engineering degree.9+ years of related work experienceExperience in an Electrical Manufacturing Engineering roleExperience in wire bundle fabrication concepts, wiring installation, electrical equipment installation or installation of wiring provisions3+ years of experience leading team in a formal and/or informal rolePreferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):Experience in commercial or military airplane maintenance and/or modificationExperience testing and trouble shooting of commercial aircraft Avionics and Electrical systemsExperience using Electrical Design Automation (EDA) Tools such as OrCAD, Mentor Graphics, Altium or PSPICE to perform schematic capture, PB design/layout, and circuit simulationExperience working with WIRS software
