Head Golf Coach

Head Golf Coach St. John Vianney High School has an opportunity for a Head Golf Coach. This key role is responsible for upholding Vianney’s Catholic Marianist mission and leading all aspects of the Golf Program, providing leadership to uphold the program’s legacy while supporting academic and character development. Responsibilities Develop and execute a strategy for a successful golf program, cultivating student‑athlete skill development, discipline, and sportsmanship. Provide proper instruction in sportsmanship, fundamental skills, techniques, safety procedures, and rules necessary for competition. Coordinate, schedule, and communicate all aspects of the program with students, families, and assistant coaches. Ensure compliance with MSHSAA, Metro Catholic Conference, and Vianney policies. Support and coordinate faith‑formation activities, including prayer, communion services, masses, and team service projects. Ensure the safety and supervision of student athletes. Coordinate, in conjunction with the Athletic Director, all practices, games, and team travel. Develop and maintain quality professional relationships with students, parents, alumni, officials, volunteers, and the media. Promote the program internally and externally through social media, community outreach, and support to Vianney families. Assist college‑bound student athletes in the recruitment and selection process. Ideal Candidate Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Excellent leadership, collaboration, and communication skills.
