This will be a night shift position. 5PM-2AM work hours may vary depending on workload. This job will start on day shift to train and move to nights after 2 weeks.
The Night Shift Press Brake Operator operates hydraulic and mechanical press brakes within a dedicated night crew, producing sheet metal components, structural metal parts, enclosures, panels, and custom fabrications. The role operates pre-set jobs, performs tooling changes and machine setup, and supports smooth production continuity through written logs and supervisor-led shift handoffs.
Responsibilities
* Operate hydraulic and mechanical press brakes across a mixed equipment fleet.
* Set up machines and perform tooling changes for pre-set jobs.
* Read blueprints and interpret fabrication specifications.
* Position sheet metal and structural materials accurately for forming operations.
* Operate shears as required for production.
* Inspect finished components using precision measurement and quality-control practices.
* Maintain written production logs and participate in supervisor-led shift handoffs.
* Collaborate with the shift supervisor and dedicated night crew to meet production requirements.
Preferred Qualifications
* 1+ years of press brake operation experience.
* Experience with blueprint reading and precision measurement.
* Knowledge of metal fabrication and quality control.
* Mechanical troubleshooting skills.
* Strong attention to detail and safety awareness.
