RN - Cath Lab/EP Tech, PT

Job Title and Location RN – Cath Lab/EP Tech, PT (Piedmont) – Atlanta, GA Responsibilities Assists the physician in the performance of invasive advanced cardiac procedures. Has thorough knowledge of all Cath/EP Lab equipment and maintenance of it. Administers direct/indirect care to patients undergoing invasive cardiac procedures. Provides direct and indirect cardiovascular clinical care during established procedures and provides sedation. Serves as subject matter expert in challenging and difficult cases by providing guidance to fellow Cath lab/EP lab techs in the proper operation of equipment and procedures. Performs a combination of higher-level work such as Cath, EP, and/or vascular. Qualifications Preferred: Registered Nurse (RN), Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS), or Registered Cardiovascular Electrophysiology Specialist (RCES). Minimum education: RN, RCIS, or RCES. Minimum experience: 4 years of Cath Lab Tech experience. Minimum licensure/certification: Current Georgia RN license, RCIS, or RCES. Additional qualifications: BCLS and ACLS, proficiency in scrubbing, sedating, circulating, monitoring, and multi-specialty procedures.
