Job Title: Credentialing Specialist
Job Location: New York, NY 10004 (100% Onsite)
Job Duration: 3 Months (Possibility of extension)
Shift: Days | Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Schedule: 5 x 7-Hour Shifts | 35 Hours/Week
Pay: $25 - $27/hr.
- Coordinate provider credentialing and re-credentialing for Medical Staff, Allied Health Professionals, and other providers.
- Process initial appointments, reappointments, credential audits, and clinical privileging.
- Perform and monitor credentialing and background checks using MDStaff credentialing software.
- Maintain accurate credentialing records and ensure data integrity.
- Ensure compliance with hospital bylaws, credentialing policies, and regulatory requirements.
- Interpret and apply credentialing standards from accrediting and regulatory agencies.
- Credentialing experience required.
- Re-credentialing experience required.
- Experience with credential audits, clinical privileging, and background checks preferred.
- Experience working with credentialing software such as MDStaff preferred.
- Credentialing, Re-Credentialing, Credential Audits, Clinical Privileging, MD Staff, Background Checks, Regulatory Compliance, Data Integrity .
- Bachelor's Degree required.
