Job Posting Title: Instructor/Assistant Professor of Biology Position Type: Faculty Department: LSUE AA - Sciences (Billy Fontenot (00000861)) Work Location: 0207A Eunice Science-Classroom Pay Grade: Academic Job Description: The Instructor or Assistant Professor of Biology is responsible for the development and instruction of course materials in the field of biology, both on campus and online, and is capable of teaching freshman and sophomore college-level courses. 65% – Instruct college level biology courses. 20% – Office hours and advising. 10% – Committee work/university service. 5% – Other duties as assigned. Minimum Qualifications: Master’s Degree. Master’s in biology or related field. OR Master’s degree in unrelated field plus 18 credit hours in related biology field from a regionally accredited institution. Specific Experience: College level instruction in biology. Agriculture background preferred. Preferred Qualifications: Ph.D. Ph.D. in Biology or related field. 3 years’ experience.
