Receiving Lead

Job Summary

JM Test Systems is on a look out for a detail-oriented anddriven Receiving Lead to oversee daily receiving operations while activelysupporting hands-on receiving functions. In this role, you will manage workflowpriorities, maintain process consistency, and ensure incoming equipment movesefficiently through the receiving process without delays. You will play acritical role in supporting production flow, reducing errors, and improvingoperational efficiency across departments. What You'll Do:

• Perform receivingfunctions including intake, sorting, logging, and work order creation
• Verify equipment against purchase orders and enter accurate equipment data
• Process drop-offs, shipments, and transfers while routing equipment to properlab areas
• Manage daily workflow priorities including rush orders, warranties, and newaccounts
• Monitor backlog, aging, and volume to maintain turnaround expectations
• Ensure receiving work is completed accurately and consistently followingstandard procedures
• Create, update, and improve receiving SOPs and workflows
• Identify and resolve process gaps, inefficiencies, and recurring operationalissues
• Partner with Lab Operations Specialists to improve workflow efficiency andreduce turnaround delays
• Maintain documentation accuracy and validate completed work before release
• Reduce errors and rework while supporting audit readiness and maintaining logs
• Coordinate with Lab, QA, Logistics, and A/R teams to ensure smoothcommunication and handoffs
• Resolve missing or incomplete information to prevent delays
• Support onboarding, training, and day-to-day workflow guidance for team members
• Identify opportunities to improve efficiency and increase throughput

What We're Looking For:

• High School Diploma or equivalent required
• 3+ years of experience in receiving, logistics, or operations
• Strong hands-on experience with receiving workflows and documentation
• Experience working in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
• Strong attention to detail and data accuracy
• Ability to balance hands-on work with workflow oversight
• Strong organizational and prioritization skills
• Ability to identify operational issues and implement practical solutions
• Effective communication skills with the ability to provide guidance anddirection
• Problem-solving mindset with strong follow-through
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ability to learn internal systems
