About the Role

The Company is in search of an Executive Director to serve as the chief executive officer, responsible for advancing the organization's mission, strategic direction, financial sustainability, and community impact. The successful candidate will provide visionary and collaborative leadership, overseeing all operational, financial, fundraising, marketing, and community engagement activities. This role involves working closely with the Board of Directors, staff, programming partners, donors, volunteers, and community stakeholders to lead the organization through its next phase of growth and long-term sustainability. The Executive Director will also be tasked with championing the organization's role as a vibrant cultural and community gathering place, ensuring operational excellence, strong financial stewardship, and an exceptional patron and artist experience. Applicants for the Executive Director position at the company should be strategic, relationship-oriented leaders with a proven track record in nonprofit management, fundraising, team leadership, and community engagement. The role requires a minimum of a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, or an associate's degree with equivalent professional experience, and at least 5 years of leadership and management experience. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of organizational finances, experience in strategic planning, and a strong appreciation for diversity, equity, inclusion, and community engagement. Preferred qualifications include experience in nonprofit or arts organization leadership, knowledge of the performing arts or live event industry, and a background in marketing, sponsorship, or audience development. The Executive Director will be expected to lead a high-performing staff and volunteer culture, fostering an environment of professionalism, accountability, creativity, inclusivity, and respect.
