We are a busy building supply company seeking a dependable Part-Time Box Truck Driver to make deliveries throughout New York City . This position offers the opportunity to become full-time for the right candidate based on performance and business needs.
Responsibilities:
- Safely operate a box truck to deliver building materials to job sites and customers throughout NYC.
- Load, secure, transport, and unload materials safely and efficiently.
- Perform pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections.
- Maintain accurate delivery paperwork and communicate delivery updates.
- Provide professional and courteous customer service at delivery locations.
- Follow all DOT, traffic, and company safety regulations.
Qualifications:
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Previous box truck driving and delivery experience preferred.
- Familiarity with NYC streets and boroughs is a plus.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 75 lbs.
- Dependable, punctual, and able to work independently.
- Forklift experience is a plus but not required.
Schedule & Pay:
- Part-time with flexible weekday hours.
- Opportunity to transition into a full-time position.
