Psychiatric - Mental Health Physician

Location: Elkins Park & Philadelphia, PA
Position Type: Locum Psychologist Child & Adult (Rehabilitation)

Overview

We are seeking a licensed Rehabilitation Psychologist to provide coverage across two locations (split schedule: 3 days at one site and 2 days at another ). This role involves supporting patients and families in a Comprehensive Rehabilitation Program .

Practice Highlights

Weekday shifts only 8:00 AM 4:30 PM or 9:00 AM 5:30 PM
Provide psychological services to patients and families in inpatient rehabilitation
Responsibilities include:
Educating families and team members on patient psychological status
Recommending intervention strategies for psychological deficits
Participating in discharge and destination planning

Population served: Adolescents, Young Adults, Older Adults, Frail Elderly
Travel required between two nearby campuses

Candidate Requirements

Doctoral degree (Ph.D., Psy.D., Ed.D., or equivalent) in Clinical Psychology Required
Concentration in Rehabilitation Psychology preferred
Minimum 3 years clinical experience Required

Experience with behavioral techniques Essential
Family therapy experience Preferred

Pennsylvania Psychology License Required

CPR Certification Required

Schedule & Coverage

Start Date: ASAP (Credentialing timeframe: days)
Weekdays only, no call coverage required

Split schedule: 3 days at one site, 2 days at another nearby site
