Manager, Alliance Management
Gilead
Gilead Sciences seeks an Alliance Manager to oversee strategic partnerships and collaborations. The role involves managing governance structures, aligning cross-functional teams with external partners, monitoring execution of agreements, and facilitating effective decision-making across R&D, Commercial, Legal and Finance functions.
Responsibilities
- Oversee partnership governance including committee operations and decision support
- Translate partnership agreements into clear activities, timelines and responsibilities
- Monitor adherence to research, development and commercialization plans and escalate gaps
- Conduct regular alliance health checks and strengthen collaboration effectiveness
- Prepare and facilitate senior leadership reviews communicating risks, decisions and opportunities
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree with 6+ years relevant experience, or Master's degree with 4+ years
- Experience in alliance management, program management, strategy, or business operations
- Track record leading projects or working in business development roles
- Demonstrated ability to align stakeholders across organizations with differing priorities
- Strong negotiation, communication and conflict-resolution capabilities
- Quantitative and analytical skills with attention to detail
- Capacity to manage multiple priorities and navigate ambiguous environments
