As a Senior Manager, Enterprise Batch Services, you will lead a team responsible for batch scheduling, production support, and operational excellence across mainframe and distributed platforms that support millions of client transactions and business-critical processes.In this highly visible leadership role, you will drive the secure and reliable execution of enterprise batch workloads, collaborate closely with application support and infrastructure teams, and lead continuous improvement initiatives that enhance operational efficiency and resilience. Success in the role requires strong leadership, problem solving, decision making, cross-functional collaboration, and a commitment to developing team capabilities while ensuring service stability in a fast-paced, high-volume environment. Your work will directly support Schwab’s ability to deliver dependable services and exceptional outcomes for clients.What you have8+ years of experience supporting enterprise batch processing, batch scheduling, or production operations environments3+ years of leadership experience managing technical teams or operational support functionsHands-on experience with Control-M, including job scheduling, workflow configuration, dependency management, and batch execution supportExperience supporting large-scale, high-volume production environments with critical business processing requirementsDemonstrated ability to troubleshoot complex operational issues, perform root cause analysis, and drive timely resolutionExperience collaborating across technology, infrastructure, and application support teamsStrong problem solving, communication, and decision-making skillsAbility to mentor team members, build technical capability, and support knowledge transfer initiativesPreferred Qualifications5+ years of experience supporting enterprise scheduling functions within financial services or similarly regulated industriesExperience with mainframe technologies including JCL, JES/SDSF, ISPF, CA-ESP, or CA11Experience supporting UNIX, Linux, and Windows environmentsExperience with file transfer technologies such as NDM, FTP, SFTP, PGP/FTP, or NFSExperience with Unix Shell Scripting, Perl, SQL, Oracle, MS SQL Server, PostgreSQL, or HadoopKnowledge of backup and recovery, high availability, disaster recovery, clustering, networking, LDAP, or SSL technologiesExperience driving process improvement, automation, and operational efficiency initiativesStrong presentation, technical documentation, and stakeholder communication skillsFamiliarity with AI-enabled tools and technologies that support operational effectivenessBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related fieldIn addition to the salary range, this role is eligible for bonus or incentive opportunities.Job SummaryRequisition ID: 2026-127885Posted Date: 17 hours ago(10/13/2026 12:44 PM)Category: Engineering & Software DevelopmentSalary Range: USD $164,000.00 - $173,000.00 / YearApplication deadline: 11/2/2026Position Type: Full time
