Emergency Medicine Physician

Level IV Trauma Center | Full-Time, 12-hour Shifts | Williston, ND


Virtus Healthcare Staffing is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Emergency Medicine Physician to join a leading healthcare facility in Williston, ND. This is a full-time position offering a unique opportunity to provide high-quality emergency care within a Level IV Trauma Center.


Provide Critical Care in a Dynamic Environment


As an Emergency Medicine Physician, you will be responsible for the independent evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment of patients presenting with a wide range of medical conditions. You will be an integral part of a dedicated team, working in a fast-paced and challenging environment where your expertise will make a real difference.


Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive medical care to patients presenting with a variety of emergency medical conditions.
• Conduct thorough patient assessments, order and interpret diagnostic tests, and develop and implement appropriate treatment plans.
• Perform a wide range of emergency procedures, including intubations, chest tubes, and central lines.
• Collaborate effectively with other members of the healthcare team, including nurses, paramedics, and other specialists.
• Maintain accurate and timely medical records.

Qualifications:

• Education: Board-certified/board-eligible in Emergency Medicine (ABEM preferred).
• Experience:
  • Minimum 2 years of emergency medicine experience required.
  • FM/IM with extensive emergency and trauma experience accepted (3 years with 250 case logs within the past year).
• Licensure: Eligible for a North Dakota Medical License.
• Certifications: ACLS, PALS, and ATLS required.
• Skills: Skilled in emergency procedures and capable of managing diverse patient demographics.

Schedule:

• Full-time, 12-hour shifts (day/night/weekend rotations).
• 24-hour physician coverage with 12 hours of mid-level assistance during peak hours.
