Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Nursing Assistant to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care, assisting with daily living activities, and ensuring the comfort and safety of patients. This position is essential for supporting nursing staff and enhancing the overall patient experience in various healthcare settings, including inpatient care, memory care, and home care environments.

Duties

• Assist patients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and eating.
• Monitor and record vital signs, including temperature, pulse, and blood pressure.
• Provide support in behavioral health settings by assisting patients with emotional and psychological needs.
• Help with mobility by assisting patients in moving to different locations within the facility.
• Maintain a clean and safe environment for patients by adhering to infection control protocols.
• Document patient information accurately in medical records and report any changes in patient conditions to nursing staff.
• Assist in memory care programs by engaging patients in activities that promote cognitive function.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and implement individualized care plans.
• Provide excellent patient service by addressing concerns and ensuring a positive experience for all patients.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Nursing Assistant or in a similar role is preferred but not required.
• Knowledge of anatomy and basic medical terminology is advantageous.
• Familiarity with critical care practices or operating room (OR) protocols is a plus.
• Experience working in home care or medical office settings is beneficial.
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while also being capable of working independently when required.
• A compassionate demeanor with a genuine desire to help others is essential for success in this role.
