Southwestern Nursing and Rehabilitation Center is seeking a dependable, compassionate, and safety-conscious Transportation Driver to join our team. In this role, you will safely transport residents to and from medical appointments, outings, and other scheduled destinations while providing exceptional customer service and ensuring resident comfort and safety.

Responsibilities

• Safely transport residents to medical appointments and other scheduled destinations.

• Assist residents with entering and exiting the vehicle as needed.

• Ensure resident safety and comfort throughout transportation.

• Maintain accurate transportation logs and documentation.

• Conduct routine vehicle inspections and report any maintenance concerns.

• Keep vehicles clean, organized, and in good operating condition.

• Communicate effectively with nursing staff, residents, families, and outside providers.

• Follow all traffic laws, facility policies, and safety procedures.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record required.

• Previous professional driving experience preferred.

• CNA (Certified Nursing Assistant) license preferred.

• CPR certification is a plus but not required.

• Experience working with seniors or in a healthcare setting is preferred.

• Excellent communication and customer service skills.

• Reliable, punctual, and able to work a flexible schedule.
