We're a second-generation, independently owned company serving Arizona's East Valley since 2010. We're not a franchise or national chain. We're an established, growing local business with locations in Gilbert and Chandler.

Garage door experience is strongly preferred, but we're willing to train the right person. Strong customer service and sales skills, mechanical aptitude, and a dependable work ethic are essential.

Why Work at MasterCraft?

• Strong Earning Potential: $60,000–$110,000+ annually, with top-performing technicians earning $1,800–$3,000 per week.
• Paid Training: $1,000 per week while learning our systems and procedures.

• Performance Bonuses: Opportunities to increase your earnings through strong performance.
• Training & Development: Ongoing technical training, certifications, and sales coaching.
• Benefits: Paid time off, 401(k) retirement plan after eligibility requirements are met, and employee referral bonuses.
• Career Growth: Opportunities to advance into lead technician, training, and management roles as our company grows.
• Local Leadership: Work for an independently owned company where leadership knows the team personally.

What You'll Do

• Diagnose and repair residential garage door and opener problems.
• Repair and replace springs, cables, rollers, tracks, openers, and related components.
• Install complete residential garage door systems and openers.
• Perform detailed inspections and identify safety or operational concerns.
• Explain findings and confidently present repair or replacement options to homeowners.
• Help customers make informed decisions and obtain approval for recommended work.
• Complete repairs and installations safely and professionally.
• Document inspections, estimates, and completed work using ServiceTitan.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and properly stocked company vehicle.

What We're Looking For

• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Confidence presenting solutions, explaining value, and asking customers for their business.
• Mechanical aptitude and experience working with tools.
• Garage door service or installation experience strongly preferred, but not required for exceptional candidates.
• Ability to troubleshoot problems and learn new technical skills.
• Dependable, professional, and comfortable working independently.
• Ability to lift 75+ pounds and work in Arizona's heat.
• Valid Arizona driver's license and acceptable driving record.
• Availability for occasional evenings or weekends.
• Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.

Experience with ServiceTitan is a plus, but not required.

Our Approach to Customer Service & Sales

We believe great technicians combine technical ability with excellent customer service.

Our technicians perform thorough inspections, explain their findings, and present appropriate solutions. We don't believe in aggressive or high-pressure sales tactics. We believe in educating homeowners, earning their trust, and confidently asking for the business.

You'll have established procedures, clear expectations, ongoing coaching, and the independence to manage your assigned appointments without unnecessary micromanagement.

Ready to Join Our Team?

Whether you're an experienced garage door technician looking for a better opportunity or a mechanically inclined professional with strong customer service and sales skills, we'd like to hear from you.
