TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified PCU RN in San Diego, California, 92102!

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: PCU Float Duration: Contract until 01/16/2027 Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 hours (19:00 - 07:00) Experience: Minimum 2 years of PCU experience required. License: Active state license required upon submission. Certifications: ACLS, NIH required. Must-Have: Candidates must float within the assigned facilities. Description: Holidays required - must work 2 out of 3: - Christmas Day and Eve - Thanksgiving Day and after - New Year's Eve and Day Registered Nurses will primarily be assigned to the PCU float unit. Nurses must be comfortable working 4 different locations during the contract duration. Nurses may float to the emergency department inpatient overflow as needed. Patient ratios for PCU/IMU: - IMU 1:3 - Tele 1:4 - MS 1:5 Documentation system used is EPIC, with Pyxis for medication distribution. A 4-week schedule will be provided to the nurses two weeks in advance. Nurses will receive a call 2 hours before their shift to confirm location. This position may require skills related to cardiology and neuro if a new unit becomes active during the contract. No blocked or self-scheduling allowed. All contracted nurses must have no requests for time off (RTO) within the first two weeks. References will be required prior to assignment. Candidates must have sufficient experience in tele, phlebotomy, and A-line procedures. The unit accepts first-time travelers with demonstrated skills in relevant areas.
