Be the Friendly Face of Szechuan Village as a Host/Takeout Specialist!
Are you passionate about creating memorable dining experiences and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment? Szechuan Village, a beloved restaurant located in Chapel Hill, NC, is looking for a friendly and organized Host/Takeout Specialist to join our team. If you have a knack for hospitality and a year of experience under your belt, we’d love to hear from you!
What You’ll Do: Key ResponsibilitiesAs a Host/Takeout Specialist, you’ll play a vital role in ensuring our guests have an exceptional experience. Your responsibilities will include: - Greeting guests warmly and managing reservations or waitlists with a smile. - Coordinating seating arrangements to ensure smooth service flow. - Handling takeout orders efficiently, from taking accurate orders to packaging them with care. - Assisting with customer inquiries and providing excellent service both in-person and over the phone. - Maintaining a clean and welcoming front-of-house area. - Collaborating with the team to ensure a seamless dining experience for all.
What We’re Looking For: Skills and QualificationsTo thrive in this role, you should bring: - At least 1 year of experience in a customer-facing role, preferably in the restaurant or hospitality industry. - Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with guests and team members. - A positive attitude, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask in a busy environment. - A proactive approach to problem-solving and a commitment to providing outstanding service.
