Join our "swarm" today!Location: Rehoboth Beach, DE 19971 Pay: $20- $25 an hour- Full- timeRequirementsExperience: 2+ years in lake/pond maintenance, landscaping, commercial mowing, turf management, or erosion control.Ability to lift up to 80 pounds on a routine basis.Ability to walk on steep slopes for extended periods of time.Ability to bend and stoop on a continual basis.Ability to work on slopes, near water, and in various weather conditions.Results-driven with strong attention to detail.Must comply with Dragonfly's policies and procedures.Great communication skills and ability to interact with multiple audiences, including but not limited to the Operations Team, subcontractors, vendors, and others.Team-oriented and aligned with Dragonfly's values: Quality Focus, Takes Ownership, and Growth Oriented.Key ResponsibilitiesReport to the Operations ManagerManage the maintenance of lakes and ponds, & other Stormwater Control Measures (SCMs).Mowing, weed-eating, and string trimming slopes and basins of pondsLoad and unload heavy equipment and planting materials from trucks.Schedule and monitor daily workloadsPlan, coordinate, and collect equipment and materials each day.Attend and participate in crew and department general and safety meetings.Prepare timesheets and other daily paperwork as required by the company.Safe driving of company owned vehicles trucks (with or without trailers) and transporting crew members.Maintain on-site relations and communications with clients, contractors and/or subcontractors.Safe operation and maintenance of the following equipment:Mowers - Stand on, walk behind, Ventrac.Edgers, string trimmers and chain sawsBackpack blowers and sprayersHand tools such as shovels, picks, rakes and pruning tools. Benefits & PerksHealth, Dental, and Vision Insurance401(k) matchingLife InsuranceFlexible Spending AccountsPaid Time Off Holiday PayEmployee Assistance ProgramReferral BonusProtective Footwear BonusDragonfly Pond Works is a leading environmental service company specializing in stormwater management.
