Job Summary:
The healthcare professional position is located in Tulsa, Oklahoma. This role involves working on a Step Down Unit during night shifts, providing advanced care to adult and geriatric patients. Candidates are required to bring their valid Oklahoma or Compact Registered Nurse (RN) license on the first day of assignment. The position starts on 07/20/2026, with a minimum commitment of 36 hours per week.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Nights, 12 hours shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Valid Oklahoma or Compact RN license (required at time of submission), BLS (Basic Life Support), ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support), NIHSS (National Institute of Health Stroke Scale) in hand at time of submittal, 1 year of nursing experience in a medical-surgical, step down, or related setting, and experience with EMR systems such as Epic, Cerner, or Meditech.
• Preferred Qualifications: Teaching hospital experience, trauma level experience (preferred), previous charge nurse experience, community hospital experience, and familiarity with patient ratios of 4 patients per nurse.
• Additional Information: The unit provides interdisciplinary support including physical therapy, respiratory services, radiology, social services, pharmacy, and interpreters. The patient population includes adults and geriatrics with diagnoses such as respiratory failure, sepsis, atrial fibrillation with rapid ventricular response (RVR), and others. The unit utilizes various special procedures, equipment, and telemetry remote monitoring. Floating to like units may be required as needed.
