Patient Administrative Specialist | Healthcare Administration

Monday-Friday | 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Welcome patients and visitors with professionalism and compassion
• Coordinate appointments, scheduling changes, and patient follow-up needs
• Verify patient demographics, insurance information, and referrals
• Serve as a key communication hub between patients, providers, and staff
• Support smooth daily operations and patient flow throughout the practice
• Utilize Epic and other healthcare systems to maintain accurate records

What We're Looking For:

✔ Appointment scheduling experience

✔ Experience in a medical office, patient access, healthcare administration, or front desk role

✔ Epic EMR experience required

✔ Insurance verification and patient registration experience

✔ Strong customer service and communication skills

✔ Ability to multitask and remain calm in a busy environment

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of Wayland, MA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $22.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
