Job Title RN Surgical Specialty Location Oklahoma City, Oklahoma Schedule / Job Type Contract, Onsite Key Responsibilities Assumes responsibility for an assigned group of patients, documenting responses to nursing interventions and prescribed medical treatments Obtains and monitors physiological data, observes physiological manifestations, and intervenes when necessary Administers medications as prescribed; initiates, regulates, and monitors intravenous infusions and blood products Assists physicians during patient examinations and minor diagnostic procedures and treatments Interacts with patients and families to share care plans during hospitalization and at discharge, and informs them of hospital procedures Delegates tasks to support staff and makes referrals regarding patient care needs to appropriate personnel Required Qualifications Minimum of 1 year of registered nursing experience Associate's Degree in Nursing from an accredited program Current RN License issued by the Oklahoma State Board of Nursing, or a current multistate compact RN License (eNLC) Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association Knowledge of professional nursing theory, practices, techniques, and procedures Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to respond effectively to cultural and language needs of patients and visitors Preferred Experience / Skills Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) or higher from a board-approved program Ability to organize, plan, coordinate, and evaluate nursing services with proficiency in applying nursing techniques Why Join Us Opportunity to provide nursing care across a variety of patient populations with health needs ranging from simple to complex in a hospital setting Work within a collaborative environment that values strong interdisciplinary relationships and quality patient-centered care Concentric Healthcare Staffing Job ID 772806.
