Primary Care Medical Assistant (MA-C)This is a temporary to hire opportunity for a Primary Care Medical Assistant (MA-C) at a clinic in Issaquah, WA. Candidates must be local, residing within a 50-mile radius of the facility, and willing to transition to a permanent position at the end of the contract period.Position DetailsStart Date: ASAPContract Length: 13 weeksExperience Required: At least 6 months of experience working as a Medical Assistant in an Adult Outpatient Clinic. Pediatric Outpatient or Private Physician Office experience may be considered.Certifications Required: BLS (Basic Life Support)Charting System: Experience with EPIC is required.Floating: No floating required between facilities.Transportation: Candidates must have reliable transportation and cannot use public transportation.Weekends: No weekend shifts are required.Job ResponsibilitiesAdminister medications and provide patient care within the scope of practice.Perform tasks such as rooming patients, obtaining vital signs, and preparing charts.Assist with procedural tasks and follow up with patients as necessary.Manage and verify insurance information and assist with appointment scheduling.Maintain a clean and organized work environment, including stocking supplies and preparing examination rooms.Patient DemographicsThe clinic caters to a diverse patient demographic, including adolescents, adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics.Required SkillsAbility to follow established protocols and procedures.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for patient interactions.Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently.Attention to detail and commitment to high-quality patient care.Special NotesAll candidates must comply with required documentation and processes before commencing employment.
