Mammography Technologist

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Days | 4x10-Hour Shifts (Monday/Tuesday & Thursday/Friday, 8:00–17:30) | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Perform mammography imaging procedures in accordance with facility protocols and standards of care
• Operate Hologic mammography equipment to produce diagnostic-quality images
• Assist with mammography biopsy procedures as needed
• Accurately document patient information and imaging results using Epic EMR
• Maintain compliance with facility policies, safety standards, and patient care guidelines

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of Mammography Technologist experience
• Valid state imaging or radiologic technology license; compact license must be active and in hand at time of submission
• Familiarity with Hologic mammography equipment
• Proficiency with Epic EMR charting system
• Ability to commit to working 3 of 5 designated holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day)

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience performing mammography-guided biopsy procedures
• Prior experience working in a short-term acute care hospital setting
