About the Position

Job Title: Cath Lab Nurse Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Cath Lab Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 10 hours Experience: Minimum 3 years as a Cath Lab RN License: CA RN Licensure Certifications: BLS (AHA), ACLS Must-Have: - Proficiency in diagnostic cath lab - Proficiency in percutaneous coronary intervention - Proficiency in structural heart procedures - Proficiency in electrophysiology Description: Cath Lab Nurse position available. The candidate must possess experience in cath lab procedures. You will be expected to work a variable shift starting between 07:30 and 10:00. Weekend call is required. The candidate should be trained in activated clotting time, arrhythmia induction, and ASD closures. Skills in cardiac ablation, cardiac implant closures, and cardiac stent placements are essential. You should be able to circulate procedures and conduct conduction studies. Experience with diagnostic cardiac catheterizations and electrophysiology lab procedures is necessary. Involvement in interventional cardiac procedures is required. Familiarity with inserting and programming AICDs, pacemaker insertion, and defibrillator lead extraction is expected. Candidates should have experience with percutaneous coronary interventions and various monitoring techniques. The role includes performing procedures such as transcatheter aortic valve replacement and valvuloplasty. You should be knowledgeable in using vascular closure systems and inserting ventricular assist devices. Experience in obtaining 12 lead EKGs/ECGs and performing transesophageal echocardiograms is preferred. The candidate should be prepared for a fast-paced clinical environment focusing on cardiovascular issues. Strong teamwork and interdisciplinary collaboration skills are essential for this role.
