Job Title

Registered Nurse (RN) – ICU

Location

Roseburg, OR | Acute Care

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Days | 12-Hour Shifts (0645–1915 or 1845–0715) | Every other weekend required | 1 major and 1 minor holiday required

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a 16-bed ICU at a 1:2 nurse-to-patient ratio, managing cardiac and respiratory diagnoses
• Titrate drips including Levophed, Propofol, Insulin, Dopamine, Neosynephrine, and Precedex
• Independently read and interpret telemetry strips (no monitor technicians on unit)
• Collaborate with in-house Hospitalist/Intensivist and Respiratory Therapy staff available 24/7
• Serve in Charge Nurse or House Supervisor capacity as assigned
• Float to other units as needed per staffing requirements; may be placed on call during low census with a 30-minute response time required

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license (Oregon license required prior to start; candidates may apply under the 90-day Oregon Emergency License)
• ACLS certification required
• BLS certification required
• NIHSS certification required
• Minimum experience in Acute Care and Critical Care settings
• Valid Driver's License required at time of submittal

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience titrating vasoactive and sedation drips in an ICU environment
• Familiarity with Meditech EHR
• Experience with ventilators, CPAP, BiPAP, and related respiratory equipment
