The nurse will be responsible for assessing and treating a variety of wounds. Wound care nurses will provide education to patients and their families regarding wound care best practices. They will work with interdisciplinary teams to create care plans tailored to individual patient needs. Experience with various wound care products and techniques is essential. The role may involve working with both adult and pediatric populations. The nurse will not be required to float or be on-call. A valid Registered Nurse license and necessary certifications are required for this position. Candidates with a strong background in wound care will be prioritized.
