Schedule

Night Shift: 4x12 hours (19:00 - 07:30), with every other weekend and holiday required as scheduled.

Job Description

The Emergency Department (ED) Registered Nurse (RN) will be responsible for providing high-quality care to a diverse patient population in a fast-paced ED setting. The successful candidate will manage patient care from infants to geriatrics, addressing a wide range of diagnoses and emergencies.

Responsibilities

• Deliver comprehensive care in the Emergency Department.
• Manage and triage patients based on acuity.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Perform emergency procedures as needed.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Provide education and support to patients and their families.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 1 year of experience in an emergency department (2 years preferred).
• Active RN license in the state of Maryland or compact license.
• Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIH Stroke Scale, CPI.
