Histology Technician / Histotechnologist\n

A healthcare organization is seeking a Histology Technician or Histotechnologist to join their laboratory team on a full-time permanent basis .

Responsibilities:

\n

\n
• \n

  Prepare and process tissue specimens for microscopic examination

\n
• \n

  Perform embedding, microtomy, staining, and coverslipping procedures

\n
• \n

  Maintain laboratory instruments and ensure proper quality control procedures are followed

\n
• \n

  Accurately document and label specimens

\n
• \n

  Follow laboratory safety, quality assurance, and compliance standards

\n
• \n

  Work closely with pathologists and laboratory staff to support diagnostic services

\n

\n

Requirements:

\n

\n
• \n

  ASCP certification preferred or required for many positions

\n
• \n

  Associate degree or completion of an accredited Histology program preferred

\n
• \n

  Previous histology laboratory experience preferred

\n
• \n

  Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

\n
• \n

  Ability to work independently and in a fast-paced laboratory environment

\n
