We are currently seeking a CDL truck driver. Home every night! The Driver is responsible for the safe and timely delivery of materials, equipment, and supplies to job sites and other locations. This role ensures accurate delivery documentation, professional representation of the company, and safe vehicle operation at all times.


Requirements

Essential Functions

• Safely operate company vehicles to deliver materials and equipment to job sites and other destinations
• Verify delivery accuracy against delivery orders or pick tickets before departing the warehouse
• Obtain required signatures and document all deliveries upon completion
• Communicate delivery status, ETAs, and any issues to dispatch and job site contacts
• Inspect assigned vehicle daily and report any maintenance needs or safety concerns promptly
• Load and unload the delivery vehicle safely and efficiently with proper material handling techniques
• Wear proper PPE required on jobsites at all times
• Return undelivered items, cores, empty containers, and returned materials to the warehouse
• Maintain a clean, organized, and professionally presented delivery vehicle at all times
• Follow all applicable traffic laws, DOT regulations, and company vehicle policies
• Assist with warehouse tasks and staging when not actively on delivery routes

Additional Duties

Other duties as assigned by management.


QUALIFICATIONS

Required

• High School diploma or equivalent required
• Valid CDL Class A driver's license required
• Clean driving record required - MVR will be reviewed
• 1+ years of CDL driving, delivery, or logistics experience preferred

Skills & Abilities

• Ability to safely lift, handle, and move materials up to 75 lbs
• Basic navigation and route planning skills; GPS proficiency
• Punctuality, reliability, and professional customer-facing demeanor
• Ability to work independently and manage a delivery route efficiently

Florida-Specific Notes & Regulations:

• DOT physical and medical cards may be required, especially for longer-distance intrastate travel.
• Drivers must follow Florida intrastate HOS rules , including:
  • 12 hours driving maximum per day
  • 16-hour duty window
• Adherence to Florida commercial insurance standards and proper cargo securement practices is mandatory.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS & WORK CONDITIONS


Requires considerable physical activity including climbing, lifting, balancing, walking, stooping, kneeling, crouching, and handling of materials. Must be able to work from heights using ladders, scaffolds, or aerial lifts. Must be able to carry, move, or lift weights up to 75 lbs.
