Activities Assistant – Part Time 24 hours per week

Twin Lakes Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center is currently looking for a full time Activities Assistant! We are seeking candidates who have a passion for working with seniors. Applicants should be creative, outgoing, and motivational to our residents in activities and events.

Requirements of the Activities Assistant :

• High School diploma or GED

• Must be able to relate professionally and positively to our residents and families and to work cooperatively with others

• A wholehearted individual whose interests lie with our residents, and meeting the recreation program and service needs.

• Must successfully complete a post offer, pre-employment criminal background check and physical / drug screen.

• COVID-19 Vaccine Required

Responsibilities of the Activities Assistant :

• Assisting the Activity Director in the development, organization, coordination, and implementation of comprehensive therapeutic recreation services and programs that meet the needs and interests of each resident.

• Complete required documentation, assist with planning and leadership of special events, and maintain activity department supplies and equipment.

We are working around the clock to keep our residents and staff healthy and safe and are following the recommended protocols and guidelines from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC). We ensure all employees and residents have the required PPE to protect them from potential exposure during this COVID-19 epidemic. Additionally, Numerous precautions have been implemented in all nursing centers such as temperature and symptom screening, screening all employees, restricting visitors and enhancing cleaning of high touch surfaces.
