Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Pediatrics Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 hours (19:00 - 07:30) Experience: 12 months permanent experience in the specialty License: Permanent Ohio license or compact state license required Certifications: American Red Cross BLS & PALS certifications required Must-Have: Experience in tracheostomy, ventilator, and central line care required. Traveler must work at least every other holiday. ECG rhythm recognition test and safeMedicate assessment to be completed during orientation. Description: This position involves working in a pediatric rehabilitation setting. Night shift hours are from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM. Candidates must have a minimum of 12 months of permanent experience in the specialty. Tracheostomy, ventilator, and central line care experience are required. A permanent Ohio license or compact state license must be held at the time of application. Certification from the American Red Cross in BLS and PALS is mandatory. Travelers must be available to work at least every other holiday. Candidates will be assessed on ECG rhythm recognition and safeMedicate during orientation, with acceptable scores required. Background checks will be conducted, and any open cases will be reviewed. Travelers with any license violations will not be accepted. A negative drug screen is required within 12 months of the start date. Compliance with nicotine-free requirements is mandatory unless exempt. All required certifications must be active and available at the time of application.
