Shift: 5x8 - Day shift (start times: 07:00–15:30, 07:30–16:00, 08:00–16:30, or 08:30–17:00)

Weekend requirement: Yes — every other weekend

Assignment Details:

Guaranteed hours: 72 hours per 2 weeks

Requirements:

Must have Alaska RN license

Minimum 2 years nursing experience

Pediatric/NICU experience required

Acute care hospital experience required

Epic charting experience required

Roles & Responsibilities:

Manage pediatric cases, focusing on neonates and infants.

Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams including IV teams, PT, RT, social services, and pharmacy.

Facilitate discharge planning and ensure continuity of care.

Conduct assessments and develop care plans tailored to patient needs.

Provide education and support to families regarding care transitions.

Compliance / Notes:

Orientation: 24 hours

Only 1 time-off request allowed per 13-week assignment (5 days or less); no holiday requests for auto-offer

Must live >50 miles from facility

Willingness to work 2 of the 3 major holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year
